Scandinavian Airlines System, also known as SAS AB, Scandinavian
Airlines or just SAS, is a multi-national airline for Norway, Denmark
and Sweden based in Stockholm, Sweden. It's currently the leading
carrier in the Nordic countries. SAS is also a founding member of the
Star Alliance. The airline began on 1 August
1946 when the flag carriers of Sweden, Norway and Denmark formed a
partnership to manage intercontinental traffic to Scandinavia. In the
1960's SAS became the first airline to fly over the North Pole and in
1962 it was awarded the Christopher Columbus Prize for their pioneering
transpolar flights. Scandinavian Airlines has also been at the
forefront in relation to environmental concerns, being the first
European airline to introduce aircrafts fitted with DAC low-emission
engines. SAS AB is the first airline worldwide that offers wireless
broadband Internet access on-board. They are also the first to have its
entire fleet of long haul aircraft's fitted with this service. With SAS

SAS is a founding member of the Star Alliance. Airlines of the Star
Alliance offer 790 destinations in 138 countries, access to airport
lounges around the world. By joining Euro Bonus you can earn
miles/points no matter which Star Alliance airline you fly with. You
can also redeem your points/miles on any Star Alliance airline
Euro Bonus
The SAS frequent flyer programme Euro Bonus was voted by over 84,000
frequent travellers 3 years in a row 1996-99 as 'Best in the world'.
Like most frequent flyer programmes there are three membership levels,
EuroBonus' tiers are Basic, Silver and Gold. As a member you have the
potential to earn points that allow you to receive special discounts on
hotels, car rentals, and gain access to a range of special offers for
EuroBonus members only, e.g. using the EuroBonus card as an electronic
ticket on SAS flights. There are other benefits when combining the
EuroBonus card with Diners Club and/or MasterCard. Diners Club and
MasterCard offer EuroBonus members the choice of having a co-branded
private EuroBonus card. Both cards also offer extended travel insurance
when purchasing tickets and possibilities to earn points with Diners
Club card or MasterCard.

point discount per adult and 250 points for children (age 2-17) each
